Ralph Eaton

Hi. I am Ralph Eaton and love what I do. I am happily married to a wonderful and beautiful wife by the name of Kellie. We will soon be married 30 years and have 3 grown sons, two beautiful daughter-in-laws, two wonderful grandsons and two granddaughters. I have been in ministry for nearly 25 years.

My background in ministry includes teaching, mentoring and counseling — including a graduate degree in marriage and family therapy and many hours of marriage and family counseling.

I came to New Life Family about four years ago, when the Church was at a major crossroads. Because they were struggling with attendance and finances, the congregation was contemplating whether to sell, relocate or even close their doors as a Church. I met with New Life’s leadership and accepted their invitation to restart New Life with new vision, purpose and life. I believe God’s Church to be the greatest change force in the world because of the way God can work through others. I want to see New Life be a part of that force!

I believe the Church to be a place to find love, acceptance, guidance and encouragement. Because of that, New life is a place where we love and celebrate God as we value and share life together, reaching others and growing through each experience. I know that I must tell others about this life-changing God, because if I cannot “mention him or speak any more in his name" his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.” Jeremiah 20:9 (NIV). Come visit us at New Life and see what God has for you!

Linda Hudson

I am the single-again mom of 5 adult children and their spouses and the very proud Grandma of 6 beautiful grandchildren. I live in Olathe and have been the full-time Worship Pastor and Office Administrator at New Life Family Church since June 1, 2005.Before coming to New Life, I was the Associate of Worship Arts at Indian Creek Community Church in Olathe for 6 years. I love being able to lead the times of singing together and worship here at New Life. God has been very faithful and good to me as He prepared me for this ministry and I am loving being in this place at this time.

There are a couple of scriptures that have found a special place in my heart. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you”, says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” and … ‘Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one; they get a better return for their labor. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble.’ – Ecclesiastes 4:9,10. God has made these scriptures come alive in my life. I hope that you will come and share worship with us and the time of singing unto the Lord as we praise Him with all our hearts.

What I like best about my ministry: I like to build teams of confident people who love the Lord and get excited about serving Him. I like learning new music, sharing new songs and finding new ways to reach people, through the arts, for Jesus. I am excited about leading the Women’s Ministry and learning, with other women, how much God loves me and has a special purpose for my life … and helping others discover those truths in their life, as well. I like working with our children and helping them learn that they can worship God with their voices and with their actions – learning songs and sharing them with others.
For fun I enjoy: Spending time with my family & friends. I enjoy being Grammy to my 6 beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy sharing life with my family and my friends. I also enjoy being kind of a ‘couch potato’ sometimes and relaxing on my day off.
